This kótirudra páráyana has been blessed and inaugurated by the Paramapújya Jagadguru Śrí Śrí Śrí Bháratítírtha Maháswámigal of of Śrîngeri, in the Hindu year Swatiśrí Vikrîti during the month of Mágha Śuddha on the Dvitíya day (05-Feb-2011) Saturday, at Mathur village, famed as the “Sanskrit village” in Shimoga district of Karnataka. Then onwards, nearly a more than four thousand faithful and devoted Ŕtviks from throughout India have been performing the Rudra páráyanas in their own houses, and are in the process of completing the Kótirudra japa.

JAPA YAJNA

The Kótirudra japa is completed. In Belaguru there will be 121 hómakundás, each hómakundá seating 11 rÀtviks, thus totalling to 1331 rÀtviks, who will each offer Rudra-Swáhákárás 11 times every day, and thus repeat so for 11 days. Thus, the hómás
will be conducted, along with other vedic rights and practices, culminating in the Sángatáyajna.
This event is surely going to be the ultimate, the surprisingly rare one, truly special and highly wonderful. All the pious and faithful devotees of the country are requested to utilize this rare opportunity in the measure of their capability – like drops of water fill the streams, streams fill the rivers, rivers lead to the seas, and seas lead to the ocean – in the form of sevá events, as sevákartás, as supporters of events and as sponsors, and become devout and noble in the service of God.
This is a noble event as per the directive of the God, the willpower of the Guru with wisdom, and the pious prayer to the Almighty.
